1994 Lincoln Continental

Exterior
Currant Red Metallic bathes the straight steel rounded aerodynamic
panels, large and in charge on this nicely preserved 1994 version
of the Town Car. Clear integrated headlights flank a center chromed
grille and a body matching safety bumper below. A long hood
stretches rearward and meets up with the lap of luxury in the
passenger compartment. 4 doors allow easy access for all
passengers. On back a very spacious and beautifully preserved
trunk, lined with near perfect carpet, also houses a full size
spare tire. Beautiful starburst styled alloy wheels are wrapped
with Goodyear radial tires all around.
Interior
An overabundance of luxuries await your body to grab you in and
pamper you during your driving experience with overstuffed large
bucket seats upfront, and a lap of luxury rear seat available to
seat 3 comfortably. Surrounding you are plenty of power options,
power windows, locks, seats, steering, and brakes. Cruise controls
are conveniently located within the steering wheel. Square and
rectangle design abounds for the dash, which has wood applique and
a centrally located digital dash readout. Climate controls, wipers
and multi function digital gauge selections are at your fingertips,
as well as a speed alarm if you so desire to care how fast you may
be going. A power moon roof switch is available overhead, and the
tight sealed roof is within a nice felt headliner with no marks on
it. Gray carpet floods the floors, and slight wear and
discoloration is on the driver's floor, but otherwise carpet is
pristine. A NOS airbag module was replaced a few miles ago with a
new unit.
Drivetrain
A 3.8 liter OHV fuel injected V-6 sits cleanly and proudly within
the sparkling engine bay. Consistent detailing has left this engine
and bay pristine. The smooth shifting 4 speed automatic
transmission is on back, and this car is equipped with a vehicle
stability control system (FWD). A newer radiator and hoses, all new
gaskets for valve covers, new timing chain, and maintenance on the
fuel injectors, and EGR are just some of the routine maintenance
performed in the last 3 years. A brand new battery has been
installed.
Undercarriage
As one would expect from a car of this condition and caliper,
undercarriage unibody is very solid, just a bit of road dirt form
all these years, and all buttoned up with power ABS disc brakes all
around. a patina exhaust system, and coil over suspension all
around.
Drive-Ability
This car started right up, and it was off for a good cruise and it
performed beautifully. Accelerated without hesitation, came to a
quick stop when power brake pedal was depressed, and handled well.
All functions were working nicely, and the ride on the long cruise
was noise free and very comfortable. A pleasurable experience.
