When you want a restored pickup that gives you both the vintage and
premium feeling, then you're looking for this 1969 Ford F-100
Ranger. With a freshly rebuilt V8, awesome two-tone, A/C interior,
and more, this is the restored truck that outshines your
nostalgia.
This F-100 has great lines and terrific sheetmetal that comes from
the right investments. They seemed to leave no detail out when
carefully restoring this Ford. The factory-correct Sky View Blue is
sandwiched in-between a bright white for an awesome two-tone style.
Not only does the premium-level Ranger provides a plenty of trim
for a clean dividing line for the colors, but also on a restored
truck like this, it's straight, clean, and looking awesome. They
really seemed to want to take the exterior back to day one status.
That's why the details are nice everywhere from the correct-style
Ranger grille, to the glossy paint in the dent-free truck bed. In
fact, the only piece that doesn't look factory are the American
Racing Torq Thrust wheels. But they are the kind of period-correct
piece that you would have added back in the day to a premium pickup
like this.
The interior continues the terrific-looking presentation that turns
back the clock. So you'll not only appreciate how fresh everything
is, but also the little details, like the insignia trim on seat
backs. It's a nice sea of two-tone blue on the doors, carpeting,
and dash. Plus, there's plenty of premium Ranger wood-like trim
everywhere (including the steering wheel.) While this is quite
vintage there are also some well-integrated upgrades. The radio has
a classic look, but it's a modern AM/FM digital tuner with an aux
input for IPod. And this keep you comfortable with cold-blowing
R134a air conditioning.
When you lift the hood, it's always great to see a big blue motor
in a blue oval pickup. And the fresh presentation is no accident.
This 360 cubic-inch V8 was rebuilt as part of the full restoration.
The consignor states this is the original motor, and the casting
date backs up this claim. It fires up nicely as the V8 inhales
deeply through a four-barrel carburetor, and it makes a nice tune
out of the glasspack-style dual exhaust. Plus, you have power
brakes, power steering, wide modern tires to make the miles feel
easy.
Complete with owner's manual, this is an awesome total build (even
check out the undercarriage photos.) So if you love a great vintage
truck, don't miss this deal. Call today!!!
