Cooper Classics is elated to present this incredible rare Euro-Spec (RoW) 993 Carrera RS. This car is not a show and display import, which means that it has unlimited mileage. With a 6/95 build date, this car is legal for import under the 25-year exemption. We believe this to be the first unmodified/unfederalized Carrera RS to reach the United States, with no yearly mileage limit. This is significant because the federalization process caused all currently imported Carrera RS's to stray from their original goal, with additional federalization equipment adding weight, complexity, and overall garishness to what is supposed to be the lightest, rawest 993 ever released. We believe our car to be the finest unmodified RS on the market. This is a fully matching numbers car, with a Porsche build sheet, with all engine and transmission numbers confirmed by us. This car comes with every service record from new, meticulously tracking every one of the 40,000 original miles. The car recently received a full service at a Porsche Dealership, which included (but was not limited to) an engine case reseal. This work comes with a Porsche 2-year mechanical warranty at any Porsche dealership. Presented in a striking Silver over black, this is a completely unmodified, well serviced Carrera RS ready for it's next caretaker on our shores.
Ford is bringing back its Bronco sport utility vehicle, and this time with a three-vehicle “Built Wild” herd of 4x4s that includes a classic 2-door Bronco and the first 4-door Bronco, which also is available in Bronco Sport guise. Production of the new Broncos will begin in early 2021 in Michigan, Ford said. In addition […]
Inspired by ESPN’s recent promotion of the debut of the Broadway musical Hamilton on Disney+, we recently presented our twist on the Sports Center Top-10 with our Top-10 Favorite Fords. But, hey, we realize we can’t do Favorite Fords and ignore other brands, so here, in the same spirit of history and whimsy, we present […]
Formula One announced last week that it will race at the famed Mugello circuit in September. That’s a thrill as the Tuscany circuit is well-known as one of Ferrari’s test tracks and has a great heritage of racing history. Could this signal F1’s return to the more classic, ‘natural’ circuits? Formula 1, in its now […]
Just hours before Ford was to showcase its new and reborn family of Broncos on Monday evening, Jeep sent out a news release proclaiming the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 concept vehicle, which it claims “amps up” fun-to-drive with a 6.4-liter V8 engine rated at 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. Jeep claims this first […]

Who knew he and his group would have such a lively sense of humor? They certainly put together an interesting piece called Time to Reign. Released on […]
For the 1961 model year, Ferrari produced only 55 examples of its 250 GTE Series I 2+2 sports coupes with right-hand drive. The company’s first 2+2 coupe was special enough to make its debut as the marshal’s car for the 1960 24 Hours of Le Mans. Recently, one of those cars has been discovered after […]
Look at the palm of your hand. What you’re looking at roughly represents the contact patch for each of the four tires on your car. That’s it. Just those few square inches connect you, your vehicle and whatever or whomever is riding along to the pavement, and it doesn’t matter whether you’re puttering around the […]
They say absence makes the heart grow fonder. That certainly seems to be the situation with the Ford Bronco. Prices of vintage Broncos have soared in anticipation of Ford’s announcement that, at 8 p.m. Eastern time Monday, July 13, it finally will unveil not only the new Bronco, but the first 4-door Bronco and a […]
In 1979, I brought a copy of Road & Track into a Mazda dealer and asked if they were expecting any of the new RX-7s; up until that point, I had only seen the car in magazines. I left that day with a contract to buy one of the first 13 that shipped to Minneapolis […]
Be the envy of your JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) buddies or drift crowd with the Pick of the Day, a right-hand-drive 1991 Nissan 300ZX. Showing just over 37,000 miles and in what looks like clean original condition, the sport coupe was apparently imported directly from an owner in Japan, where it was “well-maintained,” according to […]
