HIGHLIGHTS: Classic '60s Ford! Beautiful paint, clean interior,
classic three on the tree!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this F100 is very nice and has clearly
been done correctly. This truck looks to have seen a restoration in
the past, and the exterior condition is proof! The bed was
apparently left alone aside from being painted at the time the
truck was restored, so there is some bowing between the bed cross
supports, but overall the body is in great condition.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The paint looks great and has a beautiful
shine to it! The dark gray color looks stunning on this truck, and
is sure to turn heads in the sunlight. This is a hard color to
paint, and it looks like it has been done very well.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: Like the exterior, the interior has
been restored in the past. The driver's side of the seat and the
headliner are showing some age, but overall it is in nice condition
and looks great! This truck would be perfect for odd jobs around
town and occasional hauling.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Under the hood, this truck is equipped with a
Ford 352 V8, which was optional equipment for 1966. The engine runs
smoothly, and has a nice quiet rumble to it. The 352 is hooked up
to a 3-speed column-shifted manual transmission, which again would
be factory available for this truck. While it does have manual
steering and brakes, this truck is easy enough to drive and is a
time machine back to when it took upper body strength to handle and
old pickup!
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The curb appeal! The paint color
really makes this truck pop, as does all the polished exterior
trim.
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: Manual brakes and steering
aren't for everyone, but we find it endearing on this truck.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The tires have plenty of tread, but are
older and could stand to be replaced soon. Other than that, it just
needs a new owner!
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Anyone who grew up riding
around in old American pickups with minimal comfort options, or
anyone looking for a unique light duty truck!
