1958 Metropolitan lic# “WEE-BEE”
Absolutely spectacular condition. The chrome, bumpers, grill, moldings, even the hub caps are as new. Well over $10,000 in receipts that trace the restoration back to it’s initiation in 2002. Was from Huntington Beach originally then bought and transported to new owner in San Mateo then ultimately to sunny Coachella Valley. (Indian Wells) There, the restoration began. Reading through the invoices is like a novel. Engine, exhaust, brakes, clutch, machine work, electrical etc. all finished by 2004 with only 5K miles since. Finally, after moving to Seattle in 2006 she received a complete new interior from headliner to kick panels and everything in between right down to the chrome trim and windlace totaling nearly $3,000.00 The invoice file is at least an inch thick and comes with several supportive manuals and original California “Black Lic.
