For Sale: 1965 Ford Mustang in Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania

Vehicle Description

1965 Mustang K Code Convertible. 271 HP 289 ci Hipo type engine. 4 speed trans. Manufactured August 11, 1964 (K Code option first available June 1964). Silver Blue ext / White int. Rare 8,00 RPM Rally Pak on column. 9 inch Rear. Original factory Header exhaust manifolds. Body, interior, and engine look good. Last inspection sticker 1980. I have owned this car for many years and interviewed previous owners. Rare opportunity at $49,000..

note: Only 181 Mustang K Code Convertibles were produced in the 1965 model year. K code option was present In only % of the 1.7 Million Mustangs produced. This number is especially small when you consider that there were 600 Shelbys produced in 1965 and about 13,500 G350H Hertz model produced in 1966 and they are considered rare. The total of all 1965-7 K code Mustangs of all models was 13,500. Carroll Shelby put the Hipo 289 ci engine in his late ‘64 GT359R Shelby cars and some later Cobras. This price is low when you consider That a 1965 Mustang 2x2 K Code Mustang sold in Arizona in 2019 for $90,000. NADA value: $84,425.00. Some are listed for more than $100,000.00!
