The current owner of this 2007 Shelby GT500 convertible is the
original owner. He ordered it new from Watseka Ford. This Shelby
has been signed by Carroll Shelby with the certificate of
authenticity. The car is all stock and original except for the
battery. This one owner car is 1 of 289 GT500s produced in black
with red accent interior, is 1 of 157 black stripe delete examples,
and is powered by the 5.4/500 HP V8 engine with a 6-speed manual
transmission. The current owner believes that this car is one of
157 black convertibles/stripe delete made in 2007. He is not able
to obtain the number of cars made with the black and red interior
likely making this car even rarer. The car has a clean Carfax
report and currently shows around 2,000 miles. It has the Shaker
500 Audio system and he had the CD changer disconnected as it was
malfunctioning (this seems to be a common problem with the Shaker
