Volkswagen Beetle for sale. With a complete restoration finished in
2014, this Beetle is ready to hit the road for years to come. It is
powered by a fuel-injected 1600cc 4-cylinder motor that only has
been driven 150 miles since it was rebuilt. Sending power from the
engine to the rear wheels is a 4-speed manual transmission.
In 1979 Volkswagen only produced convertible Beetles. The exterior
of this cute little Bug is finished in a coat of silver metallic
paint that is paired with a black vinyl interior. Like everything
else on this car, both the interior and exterior are in exceptional
condition. The example offered here features a new convertible top.
It is becoming more and more difficult to find good examples of
these classic Volkswagens. Many have excessive miles or have
started to rust out. The example offered here is a great example of
a classic Beetle that has been recently restored and comes with
full photo documentation, and all receipts.
After nearly three decades in the United States, and even longer in
Europe, the "people's car", the Volkswagen Beetle, reached the end
of its remarkable history in 1979. The creator of the entire
compact car movement became an icon of culture - both mainstream
and counter - the Volkswagen's evolution mirrored the massive
changes in the American auto industry as it went from basic
transportation in its original 1100 cc split rear window 24
horsepower 1946 form through various upgraded trim levels and
higher output engines peaking at 65hp in the late 1960s. 1971 even
brought a name change as VW's product line expanded and the Beetle
nickname became the model's formal title. Finding a nice low
mileage Beetle is very difficult at a fair price and this one is
priced right and has the unique features that will continue to hold
