Vehicle Description
If you could just let your imagination run wild, what would you
build? Alan Yee of Kahaluu, Hawaii created a marvel of beauty and
technology that's beyond what many would even imagine. It's a
show-stopping 1948 F6 COE brimming with technology and
craftsmanship, and it is now available for sale having been
featured in the exclusive Maxwell Family Collection. The top has
been chopped three inches and the body treated to a smooth PPG
Concepts Tangelo Orange Pearl and Black paint finish with
old-school hand pinstriping throughout. And the truck runs like a
Cadillac. The secret is a big 500 cubic inch Cadillac engine with
CNC machined heads, forged pistons, and a special street/strip
grind Comp cam. The visual impact is over the top with not one but
two chromed BDS blowers stacked on top. (The top blower is fully
functional, the bottom is for appearance only.) Under the blowers
is a chrome plenum box with ornate custom engraving. A Turbo 400
automatic with a manual valve body and 2800 rpm stall convertor,
and a Gear Vendor overdrive send the horsepower to a Dana dually
rear end. An air bag system run by Accuair Suspension Systems
provides the stance. Custom 24-inch wheels by Jose Moreno of Intro
mount huge by awesome 405/25ZR24 Pirelli tires. The SP Audio sound
system vies for attention with three Brutus Hifonics amps and four
500 watt mini amps. In total, the system inside and outside cranks
out a Richter scale bustin' fifty six hundred (5600!) watts. The
system can operate on shore power so the tunes don't have to
compete with the engine sound. (It would be an interesting
competition though!) A specially designed loading ramp deploys to
load a matching Big Dog Custom Chopper. The bike is sold as part of
the package. The interior is a masterpiece. Aloha Upholstery did it
up in black ostrich with orange vinyl and the result is
outstanding. Drive all day in the semi tractor air seats designed
for max comfort. Controls for air ride, stereo, and air
conditioning ride side by side with the vintage dash. This is truly
a max effort showstopping build, and it's available now at
Maxmotive. 2006 Harley Davidson Big Dog Chopper - VIN:
5J11YBJ166W000798 Move over little dog, the Big Dog is movin' in!
This outrageous 2006 Big Dog Custom Chopper was part of the Maxwell
Family Collection proudly perched on the back of our 1948 Ford COE
Custom Hauler (stock # U0494). We now offer them for sale as a
package. This bike has the hardware to back up its killer looks.
Powered by a 117 cubic inch S&S V-twin with a 48 Weber updraft
carb, the bike has plenty of grunt. The custom chrome Vance & Hines
pipes assure that this Dog's bark is as good as its bite. Power
runs through a 6-speed transmission, then to a belt drive system to
the custom rear wheel. The paint is a special mix of PPG orange
with custom airbrush work all over. She's a 52MM chopper with
48-inch extended forks with only 500 miles on it -- just enough to
assure that everything is sorted out. It has a fat Avon Venom rear
tire that's nearly a foot wide and extended front and rear fenders.
It's lavished with chrome and polished pieces throughout, making
this truly a show-worthy motorcycle
