Our construction company bought this truck to celebrate and advertise our 100th anniversary six years ago. It’s been driven very little since and has been stored inside the whole time. Other than replace the logo, we have not made any other changes. There is a small dent on the front driver fender – see photo.
The following paragraph was the ad when we bought the truck in 2013 and further describes the vehicle:
The handsome sedan delivery for 1939 received a very minor facelift, loop style hood moldings, different hood ornament and bright wraparound horizontal trim strips on the grills, were the most notable changes. The standard features include dual wipers and hardwood floors protected by steel skids strips. This truck is extremely rare with the dual rear wheels and double delivery door in rear. It has the complete rebuilt 85 horse V8 engine. The entire delivery enjoyed a complete and professional restoration. The body is laser straight with black paint contrasted with chrome wheels. It has both a driver and passenger seat. It would be ideal to pull your trailer and collector car and an excellent advertising vehicle that is a showstopper.
