1973 911 2.7 RS Tribute. NOT a "Backdate" NOT an "Update" ...an
actual 1973 coupe. 2,140 lbs. Finished in 'period correct' light
yellow Glasurit paint. Original color was Gemini Blue. See COA we
have as well. One of the cleanest 2.7RS Tribute cars we have ever
seen. Built by a fanatical Porsche enthusiast that we have known
for 40+ years. This vehicle was assembled without concern for cost.
Tub was media blasted and painted throughout. It was constructed
over several years to accurately represent as close to an actual
2.7 RS with details that most Tribute cars never consider. The
project started with a factory NON SUNROOF 1973 911T that was rust
free and ultra straight. NEW fenders, door skins and rocker panels
were used as well as many other new parts from NOS resources. New
front and rear fiberglass 2.7 RS 'light weight' correct bumpers,
2.7RS Ducktail as done by factory on the original RS....'bonded' to
the metal engine lid frame. All rebuilt RS Spec 2.7 MFI engine
rated at 210 H.P. **Mechanical Fuel Injection as per the OEM RS All
rebuilt 915 Transaxle with Quaife Limited Slip, Front mounted Oil
cooler with lines routed as per the 73 RS, RSR Dual master cylinder
allowing brake bias set, front aluminum cross member, Front "S"
aluminum calipers as used on 73RS, rear SC calipers, Turbo tie
rods, completely suspension restoration with updated bushings,
torsion bars and 7 and 8" x15 correct RS size Fuchs wheels, WEVO
gated shifter, GTS Classic leather seats, clock, radio and glovebox
delete as per RS specs, RS style inner door panels, RS style light
weight carpet set, Black headliner, All new interior parts, New
fuel tank, etc. etc. Comes with PCNA Certificate of Authenticity as
well as 73 911 Owner Manual. An absolute 'BLAST" to drive.
