Vehicle Description
This 1987 Chevrolet Silverado is vintage, premium, and quite
useful. So check out everything from the A/C interior to the fresh
and powerful fuel-injected V8 to prove to you that this is a truck
that knows how to be impressive.
We're having a hard time deciding if the factory-correct white
gives this a sporty or a premium attitude. After all, this has some
added elegance from the premium Silverado trim, crisp grille, and
shining chrome bumpers. But there's also added aggression with the
tinted windows, large dual exhaust tips, and an aerodynamic bed
cover. But we really don't have to decide between premium and
sporty, because they both look so good together. And the bright
polish of the 20-Inch Ridler alloys on the lowered stance really
unites these two themes nicely.
Inside, they spent time keeping a stock look but making sure it all
feels premium. For example, the seat has a classic appearance, but
now it's finished in leather. Other upgrades are well-done, like
the dash pad that coordinates with the interior blue, and the
Lecarra steering wheel that feels grippy in your hands. This has
all the right factory premium features you want, including power
windows, power locks, tilt steering column, and the factory AM/FM
stereo with cassette. The air conditioning is now even blowing cold
R134a, so it really makes this classic truck feel quite
comfortable.
The engine bay looks stock, but it also looks quite fresh, too.
That's because a new crate 350 cubic-inch V8 was installed in 2018,
and there's only been about 3,000 miles put on it since. There's a
nice appearance, especially with Jet-Hot coating on the exhaust
manifolds. But what you'll really enjoy is that this fresh motor is
also fuel-injected. It's a strong powerhouse rated at 350+
horsepower. It not only fires up easily, but also this feels
confident out on the road with power steering, power brakes w/discs
up front, and modern sport tires. More than just powerful, this has
ideal features for the long haul like dual fuel tanks and cruise
control. Plus, the 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission was
rebuilt around the same time as the new motor was added. It strikes
an ideal balance of performance and comfort with a 2500 RPM stall
and highway-friendly overdrive.
Complete with build receipts and the owner's manual, this the
Silverado done for power and poise. So if you're ready to be
impressed by a total package pickup, call today!
