1947 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible, Classic '47 Ford Super Deluxe- Ex-Great Race Rally car- Restored several years ago by previous owner, this '47 has been outfitted to be not only a showstopper in appearance, but a fabulous driver, having participated in 2 Great Race rallies across the country.
It's been "Hot Rodded" by the previous owner, it now has dual carbs giving it "GO" but retaining it's original 3 on the tree shifter, BUT with a COLUMBIA TWO SPEED rear! Air shocks in rear give it superior handling. Has the original flathead 8block, but again, 'hot rodded' with aluminum heads and intake. Aluminum radiator installed by current owner keeps it cool even in 90 deg. weather. Tires have appx. 8000 miles, new in 2015.
This Ford cruises great at 35 or 65mph! 12V conversion. Convertible is in excellent shape and still works with electric pump! ALL NEW SEAT UPHOLSTERY IN 10/2020!
ONLY needs are; slight oil leak from dipstick tube, some paint peel from dash, wiper motor not working. Full documented maintenance history and preps for Great Race event since 2015.
This is a great driver, show car, or Rally car !!
