This 1987 Ford Bronco XLT is a super clean truck that spent most of
its life in California and it shows. This is a very nicely modified
Bronco and it comes with a folder full of receipts as well as the
original Bill of Sale. The last owner has owned this rig for the
last 12 years or so and a couple of years ago he decided to change
it from a Stock Bronco to what you see now. It is a quality build
and he spent around $15,000 on the build. We have most of the
receipts that total $12,000. The body on this Bronco is really nice
and obviously rust free and clean. The paint still looks wonderful
and we think it is original paint. We could not find any signs of
paint or bodywork anywhere. The colors are Desert Tan and White and
it looks sweet! The underside is really clean too and looks
remarkable. The interior is still in really nice original condition
and is pretty stock except for a couple of added switches on the
dash. Other than that it appears to be all original right down to
the radio. It is a testament to how this vehicle was cared for over
the years. This Bronco has Power Windows and Locks which work,
Tilt, Cruise (inop), and AC which works. All of the lights, gauges,
wipers are working. Horn was not working.
Mechanically this Bronco is dialed in and excellent. This is where
the owner spent a large chunk of money and we have receipts. The
engine is a 302 V* that was stroked toa 347. It has aluminum heads,
Roller cam, Roller Rockers, and ceramic coated headers . The engine
was professionally tuned and it runs awesome!! The transmission is
the AODE Automatic and it shifts nice. The last owner stated this
was also rebuilt, but that is one receipt we are missing. The Rear
Axle is the 8.8 with Limited Slip and new 4.56 Gears to help with
the bigger wheels and tires. It also has new ball Joints and a
newer Rough Country Suspension Lift and they added new Deaver
Springs, Bilstein Shocks, and radius Arm Drop Brackets along with
all new bushings and extended Brake Lines. The 35 Inch Tires are
new BFG's Mud Terrains. Overall this is a great Bronco that has a
great look. It runs and drives as good as it looks!
