1965 Chevy C10 Custom. 454 Big Block engine.
We’ve put over $35,000 into this truck and just don’t have time for it anymore with kids and wanting to do some home upgrades.
Majority of the work is done by Scot Rods Garage (former employee of Gas Monkey Garage). All receipts available with purchase.
Upgrades:
- Added wheels and tires consistent with the year. 17 inch period specific rims w/ Nitto tires
- Transmission replaced
- Moved gas tank from behind the seat to under the bed.
- All new hoses/wires
- New alternator
- New brake master cylinder
- Added FAST EFI
- Modern CD/speaker system installed and dynamat sound insulation throughout the inside of the cab
- Added A/C
- Added seat belts
- Added Ron Davis racing radiator
The issues:
- Needs a battery, new gas, plugs and air in the tires to run again.
- Paint is not flawless by any means, but looks good from a short distance. The door hinge has since snapped on the driver side and dented/scratched the front corner panel a bit
- The wood slates in the bed are weathered
- The interior is pretty basic, but nothing wrong with it.
