Vehicle Description
This 1966 Chevelle presents itself very well! Its laser straight
body with its original color Regal Red paint that looks like glass.
All of the chrome looks new, front and rear bumpers, mirrors,
handles, emblems, vent windows, frames, taillights and stainless
look new. Grill and headlight bezels, wheel well moldings, new
weather strips and window seals, door jambs are nicely painted. It
rides on a restored set of 15 x 8 Rally wheels with new trim rings
and a set of flat caps and BFG TA radial tires. Detailed engine
compartment with a 1966 396 360 horse engine upgraded to a 420 hp @
5500 rpm that runs on pump gas!! It has an aluminum intake with a
Holley carb, has stock chrome valve covers, ceramic coated headers,
factory tower hose clamps, dual master cylinder, correct power
steering with remote reservoir and the engine bay is painted in a
nice black satin finish. Interior is detailed and looks like
everything is new. The dash-all the chrome bezels and knobs are
new. The lenses, dash pad, heater controls, door panels, arm rests,
window cranks, carpet, headliner and sill plates look new! Seat
belts front and back, factory gauges, knee knocker tach and factory
AM/FM radio all work as they should! The undercarriage is highly
detailed. Clean rust free floors were painted, new body bushings.
All front suspension and steering is completely rebuilt. Bottom of
engine is clean, has a rebuilt Muncie transmission, all new fuel
and brake lines and e-brake assembly, upgraded front disc brakes,
new fuel tank and straps, 12 bolt rear end, new shocks, control arm
bushings and springs, new 3" Flow Master exhaust with 2.5 inch tail
pipes. Trunk is detailed nice with all clean metal and coated with
splatter finish paint. It has a new trunk mat and weather strip.
The spare is a Chevy Rally wheel with a radial tire and has a jack
assembly. This is a detailed car, in and out, strong running 396!
