Vehicle Description
1964 Chevrolet Impala SS Coupe, Restoration just completed in
February 2020. One of the most iconic classic cars of all time.
Looking for friends? Everwhere we have gone on test drives with
this beauty people honk, shout out or gather. She will be a hit at
any car show and is as nice an example of an SS Impala as you will
find. We purchased the car two years ago in Clear Lake Oaks,
California from a friends son who had hoped to restore it. It was
manufactured in California and always titlted there. All of the
metal is orriginal and after only minor body work is rust free. The
fresh Sky Blue and White paint is the orriginal (and rare) factory
color. The authentic look interior is all new including; headliner,
carpet, door panels, seat covers, mats, and a replica radio with
four speakers and blue tooth. Up front is where the classic meets
today. Under the hood is a new 430 hp stroker 383 from Blue Print
Engines, built internally with; alluminum heads, roller cam roller
rocker, cast steel crank, 4 bolt main, hypereutic pistons, heavy
beam rods, Hastings molly rings, heavy duty timing set and high
volume oil pump. Externally is a chrome front runner system, HEI
ignition, Vintage air conditioning, aluminum radiator, shorty
headers, and a Dart intake with a Quiet Flow 'Mauler' carb. This
state of the art motor makes wonderful music through Flow Master
pipes which exit in front of the rear tires. Power is delivered
through a new TCI Turbo 400 Trans. To modernize this beauty for
todays driving we have added a Flaming River Steering Box, a 14
3/4' steering wheel, power steering, and 4-wheel disc brakes. The
final modern addition was lowering the car and setting it on
American Racing wheels on Nitto tires 18' front and 20' rear. The
engine compartment and underside have been nicely detailed. Please
