Vehicle Description
Cruisin Classics is proud to present this one of custom ride in the
form of a 1948 Chevrolet Cab-Over Crew Cab. As you can see, this is
not your ordinary crew cab, nor your ordinary COE. The builder
started with a farm fresh truck, and after 6 years of blood sweat
and tears... this is your result. The truck sits on a hand built
2x4 square steel chassis. A later model subframe was grafted to the
front. In the rear, a custom 4 link was built and welded to the
chassis. This truck has been proven reliable and rides excellent.
Powering this beast is a 454 Big Block backed by a TH400
transmission and 9" rear out back. Inside the truck is also one
off, with custom bucket seats on all 4 sides. The tinted windows
and ice cold air conditioning keep the beauty comfortable no matter
what the temperature is outside. All 4 windows are power and
operated from switches in the center console. You will also see an
additional switch in the console and that is for the door poppers.
The rear doors are operated by additional switches hidden by the
