The right vintage truck is a mix of style, ability, features, and
value. That's what gets us excited about this 1984 Dodge Power Ram
4x4 Prospector. With its sharp two-tone, loaded interior, upgraded
V8 power, and more, it offers a lot to love.
The red and white two-tone on this one is quite striking. It's not
just that these are two great colors, but also that they are
thoughtfully intertwined. The premium Prospector package has some
nice full-length side and tailgate trim, and that's used as a
clearly defined border for the red. Plus, the red on the hood has a
silver pinstripe border for a thoughtful detail that matches the
rest of the truck. The chrome front bumper, new door handles, and
polished wheels give this some brightwork flair. The total
presentation looks nice, but it's also not overdone so that you'd
be afraid to keep this pickup working. After all, usability is also
the allure of a proper vintage truck. That's why you have the tall
4x4 stance, fresher liner paint protecting the bed, large
trailering mirrors, and a full trailer hitch. And we especially
love how the useful rear step bumper still has the original dealer
info etched into it. It reminds you that this pickup is a local boy
that was sold brand new less than two hours from our showroom.
Inside is a tasteful full red package. A clean dash, nice
carpeting, and comfy velour inserts on the seats make this an easy
place to spend some time. Of course, you'll also like this, because
it's loaded with the right features, including power windows, a
tilt steering column, and a factory-style AM/FM digital tuner with
new stereo speakers. This even has factory air conditioning (you
will need to have it serviced and converted to R134a to have it
blowing cold.) Of course, your real favorite breezes through the
cab are the old-school ones that come from opening the vent windows
and sliding the rear glass.
Under the hood is proper Dodge power. The 360 cubic-inch V8 already
has a reputation for being a fine powerhouse, and this one is
actually a younger Jasper engine installed 8-10 years ago. Not only
does that mean a fresher motor, but also it has been upgraded with
an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. This
motor was recently given a tune-up, and so it fires up nicely as it
makes a sweet low rumble from the dual exhaust. You can really tell
they have cared for this truck over the years. In fact, it has been
given investments like new driveshafts, distributor, and shocks all
since 2019. The two-speed transfer case gives you true go-anywhere
4x4 ability. But for those times when you just want to enjoy the
byways, this has easy driving features, like a three-speed
automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up
front.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual, title
documentation, and maintenance records. This Ram is distinct,
powerful, comfortable, and affordable. So you know you don't want
to miss this 4x4 deal. Call today!!!
