Here we have a 1947 Willys Jeep CJ2A for sale. This is an awesome
piece that comes with a lot of memorabilia. It's done as an Army MB
replica that is sure to bring a ton of attention anywhere you go.
In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the
exterior, interior, and driveline of the Jeep, but first we would
like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee.
We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no
consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You
can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a
big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So,
that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us
for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at
(865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of this '47. When you walk
around it you can see that the body is in phenomenal condition and
rock solid. It's covered in the Flat Army Green Paint that's
accented by the White Markings and Stars. It's fitted with the
Collapsible Windshield that functions with ease. Also it has the
spring controlled Flag Pole and is set up with the working Federal
Enterprises Model EG Siren. Standing tall and mounted in the middle
is a .50 Cal Machine Gun that's fitted with a gas firing system to
give it an authentic feel, just in case you wanted a little more
attention. It's sitting on the Steel Wheels that are also Army
Green and Fitted with Bias Ply Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Willys. On the inside it
sports a lot of memorabilia and has a true War Jeep Feel.
Everything is rock solid, and the gauges are in great condition and
working as they should. It has seats for four and all of them are
in great condition as well. Sitting behind the collapsible
windshield is the M1928A1 Thompson Submachine Gun with a Drum
Magazine, or as many of you know it the "Tommy Gun." This '47 also
comes with the M1919 Browning Machine Gun with dash mount for when
the windshield is down. The mount for the 50 Cal has the M1 Carbine
.30 Cal with a mounted Bayonet, multiple deactivated grenades, and
the M72 LAW 66MM anti-tank weapon. There's more memorabilia than
you can see as it also comes with: the working CB Radio,
Battalion/Task For Defense Operations Manual, Gas Mask, Tire Iron,
Weapons Oil Container, Wrench set, Broadcasting Kit, Bugle, Rifle
Bore Cleaner containers, Military Helmets, Equipment Belt, Mess
Kits with utensils, Numerous Manuals and carrying bags, Flak
Jacket, Flashlight, and even the US Grade Shovel.
Finally, we will look at the driveline of this CJ2A. Under the Hood
it's powered by the L4-134 "Go Devil" 4 Cylinder engine. Everything
under here has a great eye to detail and is done in the Army Green
color scheme. The "Go-Devil" is mounted to the T90 Transmission.
This Willys of course is Four Wheel Drive and is set up with the
Dana 41 Rear Axle with the Dana 18 Transfer Case and Dana 25 Front
Axle. When you look under it you will be thoroughly impressed as it
is rock solid and in excellent condition. It's got the single
exhaust system and the standard suspension. The highway this '47
runs and drives phenomenal with the steering being responsive and
the brakes stopping true.
