Believe it or not, this is the 5th generation of this Newport Royal
offered by Chrysler. The first Newport, known as the Chrysler
Newport Phaeton, was produced during 1940 and 1941. 30 years later,
this was their luxury full size coupe that came on the C-body
platform. All build sheets and original window sticker come with
the car, along with other documentation. This one was ordered with
an engine upgrade, replacing the standard 383 with a 6.6L 400 and 3
speed automatic transmission. That engine still rests under the
hood today, starting with ease and ready to drop into Drive right
away. The car is all original, just being maintained over the years
as opposed to customized. The interior looks like a time capsule
from 1970 exploded and coated everything olive green. New brakes
all around with a new master cylinder. It is all in flawless
condition and will certainly remind you of the craftsmanship
classic Mopars are known for. Financing is easy and trades are
welcome. Priced to sell, this beauty won't last long!
