Vehicle Description
By the 1990s, Ferrari's series of mid-engine flat twelve-powered
machines was showing its age. The roots began in 1973 with the 365
GT/4 BB and included the 512BB, Testarossa, 512TR, and 512M. The
mid-engine cars served Ferrari well, but the time was right for
something drastically different. Customers and many within the
factory walls longed for a return to the classic front-engine GT
car, and in 1996, they got their wish when Ferrari introduced the
550 Maranello. It was the first time in 23 years that a flagship
Ferrari had its V12 engine in front of the driver. Nearly as soon
as it broke cover, fans hailed the 550 as the spiritual successor
to the legendary 365 GTB/4 Daytona. The public and the press
delighted in its blend of tradition with modern technology,
reigniting the passion for the classic front-engine V12 layout that
is integral to Ferrari history. The 550 backed the hype with superb
chassis dynamics, a powerful engine, and vastly improved technology
and build quality. Along with the evolutionary 575M, and entirely
new 599 of 2006, the door was thrown open to a new generation of
twelve-cylinder supercars from Maranello, blending the latest in
advance technology in a traditional layout cherished by marque
enthusiasts. In 2012, Ferrari once again redefined the front-engine
performance car with the all-new F12 Berlinetta. As the replacement
for the 599, the F12 featured a new aluminum alloy spaceframe
chassis developed in partnership with Scaglietti, wrapped in a
Pininfarina-designed body with F1-derived active and passive
aerodynamics. Beneath the hood sat a naturally-aspirated
6.3-literTipo F140V12, producing a bonkers 730 horsepower at 8,200
RPM. It had a nearly 130 horsepower advantage over the 599 and was
even more potent than the track-only 599FXX. The F12 was also
slightly lighter and boasted 76% more downforce than the 599. The
impressive spec sheet included a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox,
carbon-ceramic brakes with active cooling, electronic
differentials, ultra-quick steering, adjustable magnetic
suspension, and much more. Every aspect of the car's astonishing
performance is accessible via the steering
wheel-mountedManettinodial, transforming the F12 from relaxed GT to
thundering hypercar at the twist of a knob. The F12 vanquishes 60
mph in 3 seconds, 120 mph in 8.5, and tops out at 211 miles per
hour, all while also cosseting occupants in a gorgeous,
leather-clad cockpit with a generous cargo area in the rear hatch.

order, and service records show consistent Ferrari dealer service
in the hands of its previous owners, as well as a new set of
Pirelli tires in 2017, and it remains under the factory's 7-year
complimentary maintenance program. The mighty V12 wears original
red wrinkle-finish cam covers and intake for a dramatic
presentation under the hood. Underbody panels are intact and in
excellent order, with only some light scuffs noted on the forward
section when viewed from beneath. The sale of this F12 presents a

exceptional Atilier-spec example for a fraction of the original
