Vehicle Description
We didn't know it back then, but this 2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans
Am was the last time we'd ever get a T/A from Pontiac. So it's
great to have such a highly original example. And this final-year
car has everything you want, including a fuel-injected V8, T-tops,
and an affordable price.
The Pewter Metallic paint appears to be the original factory
application. That's what we like to see on the last of the Trans
Ams, especially because it retains a nice luster in the sunshine.
It's not a perfect presentation, but a car can only be original
once. So it's nice for this coupe to keep its history, and at the
same time, the value price lets you decide if you want to update in
the future. This has great details, like the hidden headlights,
well-integrated rear spoiler, and a cool full-length pinstripe that
draws extra attention to one of Pontiac's curviest designs ever.
And those 16-inch factory allows have a great mirror-like
shine.
The interior is also highly original in this instant classic. That
means you get a ton of luxury features in a driver-focused package.
It starts with a leather interior that includes power adjusting
buckets up front and a center console in-between. You get a grippy
sports steering wheel with essential control built into it, and
beyond that is a full gauge package with a large speedo and tach.
Plus, there are power windows, power locks, keyless entry/alarm,
cruise control, tilt steering column, and an AM/FM/CD stereo with
seven-band equalizer. Beyond just luxury features, a modern classic
also means modern safety with dual airbags and anti-lock brakes.
Best of all, this has the ultra-desirable T-tops, and the ice-cold
air conditioning means you get stay open to the world long into the
summer.
Under the hood is the numbers-matching LS1 fuel-injected V8. This
is one of the ultimate factory powerhouses from the era, and so
it's great to see it nicely maintained, right down to the details
like the hoses and wires. It fires up readily like a well-respected
modern classic should. Plus, the dual exhaust has the right sound
of a thoroughbred. This makes for the kind of package that's just
begging to be driven. So while this is a collectible final-year
Firebird, it also is a fantastic driver. That's especially true
with great features like the four-speed automatic transmission
w/overdrive, power steering, sway bars front & rear, and four-wheel
power disc brakes.
Complete with owner's manual, this car is powerful, loaded,
affordable, and quite significant. That's what makes the whole deal
irresistible. Call today!!!
