Here is an exceptionally clean 30 year old truck that brings back
memories for a lot of us. This '90 Suburban was rolling down the
road before SUV's were luxurious family haulers to bring the kids
to school in. This Suburban is finished in a two tone paint scheme
of silver over gray with a red stripe separating the two. Upgraded
wheels and tires add a little bit of bling to the otherwise stock
exterior. Barn door style rear doors allow access to the rear cargo
area rather than a more traditional fold-down tailgate. The
exterior is in great condition - paint, bumpers, lights, and even
the emblems show very well. Inside this minty Suburban is a clean
gray interior that would otherwise be pretty drab, but wood trim
has been added to the familiar dashboard and door panels. Bolstered
seats, power windows, Delco stereo, rear window defrost, and A/C
controls for front and rear are a few highlights of the minty
interior. Even a GMC compass is in great condition, and looks right
at home mounted on the dash....you know before the Navigation
screen became a fixture like in the big SUV's on the road today.
When we say the interior is minty, we mean it! This interior gives
you an idea of what it may have been like to get a Suburban like
this right off the showroom floor. Mounted just behind those
rectangular headlights is a Fuel Injected 454ci V8 that offers 230
horsepower and 385 lb/ft of torque - a good amount of power for an
early 90's workhorse. A TH400 transmission handles gear selection.
The odometer shows 60k miles, which is believed to be original.
With the condition that this truck is in, the mileage number makes
sense. As you can see in our many photos, the engine bay is
extremely clean as well as the underside. This Suburban doesn't
offer heated seats, navigation, power tailgate, rounded exterior
panels, or fancy lighting but it is a classic American SUV that is
in exceptional condition. Haul your family or friends in comfort in
a 30 year old SUV that has classic square-body style and character.
