Vehicle Description
The 1966 Chevrolet Impala convertible was a car that mixed style,
size, and flair. So it's great to find a custom example that
maximizes that feeling everywhere from the custom paint to the big
block power.
The paint that's instantly grabbing your attention is called
Evening Orchid. It's a color Chevrolet had for a brief time in the
'60s, and it really knows how attract eyes today. This upgrade is a
quality application that loves to radiate in the sunlight. But it's
more than just the paint that makes this full-size drop-top so
attractive. The trim that runs the full length and wraps around the
rear has been custom finished in gold. So it draws extra attention
to how straight the panels are. Plus, it's a well-coordinated
accenting with the rocker trim, wheel well trim, and even the
windshield sunshade are done in gold. And the addition of the
17-inch REV alloys completes this custom cruiser look.
The crisp white vinyl roof looks outstanding against the special
paint. But you'll also love to see it power down to reveal the full
white interior. The seats, door panels, and convertible boot have
the clean look of a solid investment. Plus, the gold acceding
continues inside. The dash trim was upgraded to gold, and this
combines with the door trim, upgraded gas pedal, and floor mats to
deliver a well-coordinated golden look inside. This is a full-sized
machine, so that means plenty of room to take family and friends
along for the ride. There are also nice features like an upgraded
retro-style AM/FM digital tuner, and this was a factory A/C car
(currently only the controls remain.) But even when you're just
cruising solo, this Chevy is a great machine. The front bucket
seats with a center console in-between means it's easy to find your
individual level of comfort. The factory dual-spoke steering wheel
gives you an excellent view of the full gauge panel, including the
ultra-wide speedometer.
Filling the engine bay is terrific big block power. After all, the
454 cubic-inch V8 is a legendary Chevy powerhouse, and so it's
ready to give you plenty of touring comfort. And while you'll
marvel at the cool gold accents that coordinate within rest of the
car, don't forget to spot the practical features, like the newer
aluminum radiator. Then you add in great features like the
three-speed automatic transmission, power brakes, power steering,
and a supple ride. It's this powerful operation and luxury cruising
attitude that makes the convertible so desirable.
This is the distinct Chevy that runs strong and turns heads. We all
love this kind of distinction, but there's only one up for grabs,
so call today!
