Vehicle Description
CPR Classic is delighted to offer this concours restored, 1958
Porsche 356A Super Sunroof Coupe finished in its factory color
combination of Ivory over a Red leather interior. The car has just
finished a complete ground-up restoration to an exceptionally high
standard.
This 356 is a numbers-matching example and was a highly optioned
car from the factory. Original factory options are as follows:
-'Golde' Sunroof
-Blaupunkt radio 'Stuttgart'
-Antenna
-Oil pressure gauge
-Two safety belts
-Dimmable rear-view mirror
-USA bumpers
-Two straps for luggage rack
-Touch Up Pen
This 356 has lived a pampered life over the past several years
while receiving a full restoration by a private restorer in the
Oregon area. Every facet of the car has been addressed to the
highest level, resulting in the superb presentation that this 356A
Super boasts.
John Wilhoit of Wilhoit Auto Restoration overhauled the engine. The
provided dyno sheet from Wilhoit indicates the engine makes 105hp.
The engine cosmetics are also outstanding and finished to a
concours level.
The interior was restored by Agustin Vidaurri of Autos
International Inc. in full red leather. As CPR also uses Autos
International for our restoration interior work, the interior in
this 356 is of the level of quality of the interiors we install in
our full restorations.
This 356A Super is a blue-chip concours level example that is ready
to be shown at any Porsche Concours in the country. With only
sorting miles since completion, the car is in virtually as-new
condition and is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner for years to
to come.
