Vehicle Description
Here is a PHS documented 1968 Pontiac Firebird Convertible with
rare Autumn Bronze! PHS shows the following options: 350 YJ Code w/
Automatic trans Bucket seats w/ console Rally Clock Disc brakes
Deluxe interior Wood steering wheel Remote Mirror (missing) AM/FM
Radio Power top Soft Ray Glass (tinted) Power steering I will
attempt to tell you as much as I can about this car. It is a
project car and will need to be restored. It is not drivable and
will need to be trailered. This car has been in clean dry storage
since the 90's. Someone had started doing very amateur body work to
the car , but thankfully stopped. For the most part the car is
complete. The most notable things that I have noticed that are
missing are one cocktail shaker, RH turn signal and the drivers
door panel. Other than than looks like most everything else is
there for you to restore. Exterior: The car appears to have all of
its original body panels and doesn't appear to have ever been
wrecked. This car has normal rust in the normal areas, trunk,
floors, lower fenders, corner of the doors, windshield channel,
header area, etc.... I have also included a full 1 pc trunk pan and
a 1pc floor pan. I have also included an extra flat hood, Used
drivers fender, trunk lid and rear taillight panel. Interior: Car
has most of its original deluxe interior, including seat belts,
AM/FM radio, console, clock and wood wheel. It is missing the
drivers door panel. Car shows 43512 miles and the title says
actual, but I have no way to tell. Seat tracks slide as they should
and seat frames appear to be good restorable cores. Drivetrain:
Current engine is a 71 Pontiac 350. We have had the engine running
on electric fuel pump and a remote fuel jug. Starts right up, no
funny noise, no smoke, idles nicely. We have not driven the car as
there is no brakes. Trans appears to be original as does the rear
end. We do have a 1968 Pontiac 350 YJ code with #46 heads. The
block was cast the same week that the car was built.
