Willow Gold (Code G) capped with a black convertible top, this car
is in great condition and is sure to turn heads. We enjoy adding
cars like this Oldsmobile to our inventory - highly original and
classic. Since Oldsmobile has gone the way of the Dinosaur,
interest in classic Olds cars has been steady, and this car should
not be overlooked. This Cutlass may look docile compared to muscle
cars of the era, but this thing really packs a punch thanks to a
Rocket V8 under the hood. The Willow Gold paint currently on the
car is the original paint color. Our client noted that the car is
completely unrestored and original other than a new paint job
(completed in 2008) and Super Stock II wheels being added. The body
is in great condition - panels line up as they should, chrome and
lights are in great condition, and those 15 wheels really give this
car a sporty look. The inside of the car is in equally good
condition as the exterior. Everything is original except for the
center console trim piece which has been replaced with a carbon
fiber look panel adorned with an Olds badge. The black vinyl (code
940) bucket seats, black carpeting, and black door panels are in
great surviving condition. The dashboard is straightforward with
simple HVAC controls, radio, 2 gauges, and a three spoke steering
wheel. A small switch on the dash operates the power top, so you
can go from top up to top down, or vice-versa easily. Under the
hood, a 310hp Rocket 350ci V8 hides under the red and silver air
cleaner. A Jetaway 2 speed transmission handles gear selection, and
power is sent to the rear wheels through the Anti-Spin rear axle.
The engine bay is tidy with other highlights being gold valve
covers, factory Four Season A/C components, and power steering
pump. The underside of the car has an old look to it, but again
this area is highly original and is solid. Don't overlook this Olds
Rocket powered Convertible, it's a highly original classic that has
a little spunk. A 310 horsepower V8 was nothing to sneeze at in
'68. Make room in your garage for a classic Olds that you can enjoy
for years to come. Be sure to check out all the photos and video on
