AKA: Super Stang. This stunning Resto-Mod is the ultimate Mustang G-machine with its gorgeous styling and modern equipment. It was professionally restored with great attention to detail and only has 125 miles since completion.
During the build custom body pieces were beautifully molded onto the car such as the front end, side scoops and rear end. It sports a fiberglass Shelby GT500 style hood and custom front spoiler. The body is extremely straight with excellent gap lines throughout unlike many Mustangs with custom body pieces. It was placed on a rotisserie and the entire body including the exterior, engine compartment, trunk compartment and undercarriage was painted White. It was then dressed with red Super Snake stripes that were painted on and buried under the clear coat. The red GT500 lower stripes were also painted on unlike most Mustangs that have decals. The paint work is high show quality throughout and virtually flawless. All of the tinted glass is new and slightly tinted. Some exterior appointments include new window trim, dual chrome Talbot mirrors, billet front upper and lower grilles, Shelby GT500 emblems and gas cap, LED turn signals, Shelby style sequential taillights and electric rear antenna. The car sits on custom made Raceline wheels that 17 x7 on the front and 17x11 on the rear. The wheels have a Gray center, brushed center lip, polished outer lip and a custom spinner with center Cobra decal. The wheels are wrapped with Nitto NT555 Extreme tires that are 235-45-17 on the front and 315-35-17 on the rear.
The all-new black interior with aluminum trim is amazing. Some of the interior features include a black chrome roll cage, overhead console, AutoMeter Phantom gauges, Ididit tilt steering column, Lacarra Cobra style steering wheel, custom center console with gauges, power cut off knob, auxiliary outlet and storage compartment, Hurst shifter with custom shift knob, E-brake handle, Vintage Air air conditioning /heat, power windows, power locks, electric trunk release, Pro Car high back bucket leather seats, functional folding rear seat, front 3-pt retractable seat belts, rear seat belts, GRT Cobra pedals and Alpine sound system with four speakers. The trunk compartment is equipped with billet hinges, Optima battery and top of 22-gallon polished fuel tank.
The engine compartment is high detailed throughout. The firewall was smoothed and a custom cowl ventilation system was fabricated. The shock towers were cut and smoothed. It's equipped with Billet hood hinges and a Painless wiring harness. All the wiring, hoses and lines were concealed. The car is powered by an all-aluminum 4.6-liter Supercharged V8 crate engine with an estimated 600hp. It has Sullivan intake, Pro Charger D-1SC intercooled Supercharger, custom fuel injection harness and Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator. The engine was dressed with red valve covers and gray coil covers with Shelby GT500 emblems. The engine breathes through Hydrohone ceramic manifolds and a Flowmaster exhaust system with chrome tips. The engine is cooled by an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and billet overfill canister. The engine is coupled to a TREMEC T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission. It has a performance flywheel and hydraulic clutch with a tubular cross member.
The undercarriage is highly detailed throughout and lighted mirror quality. The front frame was strengthened and it has mandrel bent 3-inch rear frame rails. It's equipped with power rack & pinion steering. It's equipped with a Rod and Custom coilover front suspension system and an advanced Heidts Pro G IRS mini-tubbed 9-inch rear suspension system with inboard Wilwood rear disc brakes. The electric hydro boost brake system consists of Wilwood brakes, red calipers, drilled and slotted rotors. This car has recently been serviced and detailed which is documented with an invoice that is included.
