1947 Mercury Eight Woody Wagon sold in project form. Under the hood
is a Flathead V8 as well as a rebuilt Flathead in the back as well
as other miscellaneous parts. Some parts include: extra grille,
spare tire, bumper guards, intake, carb, and rear bumper. Flathead
is still paired with a 3-speed manual transmission. This is one of
3,558 1947 Mercury Eight Woody Wagons made. When these were
originally made, they were made with ash and maple trees out of
Ford's forest. When new, this was the most expensive model Mercury
offered at the time! Great starting point to really get this wagon
back into shape!
