Vehicle Description
In the late 30's cars started to transform quite a bit. Seperated
fenders and running boards were still a thing but they were much
more rounded. People were also no longer satisfied with the limited
interior space that was offered in the early 30s and opted for
vehicles that were more roomy. These late 30s cars had an awesome
look and are the base for some of the coolest Street Rods ever
produced. The 39 Chevrolet Coupe you see here is a very well built
custom. It has all the right stuff and a great look. The body is
very solid and coated in a nice Red paint. A lot of the original
style trim is in place and all of the stainless and chrome is in
very good condition. The glass is all good as well including the
two piece front windshield. The car has an awesome stance and the
Billet Specialties wheels suit the car very nicely. They fill the
wheel wells perfectly and the knock off style center caps and fresh
low profile tires give it the ultimate modern street rod look.
Pop open the 4 piece hood and you will reveal the well built GM350
crate motor that now propels this classic down the road. The car
runs just as good as it looks with no smoking or issues. The motor
is dressed up very cleanly with Blacked out valve covers and air
cleaner plus a lot of chrome and billet components. It has all the
right touches and is just enough to look cool and show well without
being too overdone. It has zero heating issues thanks to the
aluminum radiator and Cooling Components electric fan. The dual
exhaust exits out of the rear and delivers a great sound through
Flowmaster mufflers. During the build a new wiring harness was used
to eliminate any concerns about electric issues. Backing up the
motor is a 3 speed automatic that shifts smoothly and correctly.
The brakes in the car have been upgraded with disc up front and are
power assisted with a nice chrome Wilwood brake booster and braided
lines. It also has power steering which makes it a very comfortable
car to drive.
Moving onto the interior you will find it has been completely
redone with nice bucket seats and Gray ultra leather. Everything is
in good shape throughout. The door panels feature an armrest and
all billet handles. The dash has been redone with Autometer Classic
gauges, an Alpine AM/FM/CD/AUX stereo, and AC/Heat. In front of the
driver sits a tilt column, billet steering wheel and column
shifter. It has really been finished out with a lot of nice options
and needs nothing. If you run out of storage space behind the seats
don't worry because the trunk has been nicely upholstered as well
and offers a bunch of additional room.
If you are in the market for a clean well built Street Rod look no
further. This car has a nice freshly built look while still being a
great driver. It has also completed a NSRA Safety 23 inspection
which you street rodders will know is one of the best ways to
determine a car like this is road worthy. It was built to be driven
and enjoyed so hop in the drivers seat and start cruising in
style.
