1965 MERCURY M100 STREET-ROD
A few months ago ... we had my personnel 2010 Bentley Continental Convertible (with 17,000 original miles) listed for sale ... and ... a gentleman from New York contacted us and offered this incredible "Over-The-Top" Custom 650 HP 1965 Mercury Pickup in trade. Well ... I have heard about Mercury Pickups (only 1,000 were ever made) ... and ... I can only remember seeing one or two. But ... a 650 HP Custom
Behemoth Mercury like this one ... was ... just to much to pass up.
So ... after a week of negotiating, the Bentley left the Ranch for New York ... and ... this incredible truck arrived back. Now ... I have a great ... new ... New York Friend (who also owns a wonderful Hot Rod Collection) that is "Rocking" the most beautiful Bentley I have ever owned.
The history ... behind this build is incredible. It was built by Hot Rod Designer / Builder (Ken Currie) that has built over 70 Ford trucks ... and ... is famous for his Reverse / Tilt Front End design. The build began in 2011 and completed in 2015. It Debuted at the 2015 Detroit Autorama. It won Hot Rod Magazine's Top Ten Trucks award ... and has been featured ... on the cover of numerous automotive magazines.
