This beautiful 1994 Mercedes-Benz SL600 was originally purchased new at Feldmann Imports in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was driven there during the summer and taken to Florida in the winter. After the passing of the original owner, the car was acquired by a broker and then sold in October 2017 to the current owner with just 38,667 miles on it. The car now has only 42,983 miles on it and has been kept in a temperature-controlled environment in the desert SW. The current owner corrected a Freon leak and the AC has blown cold for the last 2.5 years. The original tires were replaced with Michelins, a Bluetooth module was added to the stock radio so that a wireless device could be connected for both music and phone. The under-hood insulation was also replaced with a factory supplied part as the original foam was breaking down from age. The 6.0-liter V12 is paired to an automatic transmission and a partially stamped service booklet is included along with the factory manuals. Performance with the 12-cylinder engine is smooth, quick and a real delight to drive.
This car has both the original color matched hard top and a very new looking power soft top, which shows no age nor wear. The soft top retracts and extends flawlessly. Additionally, there is a storage rack to hang the hard top while not in use. There is also a car cover to protect the car while it is not being driven. The fit and finish of the car shows a near new appearance and the paint shows a consistent and beautiful shine. There is one paint touch up from a scrape just forward of the right wheel well, and one blemish on the left rear wheel rim (I have included those in the pictures). The cabin has been kept stock, including the original car phone which was a factory option when sold new. The leather upholstery is in excellent shape with no tears and shows very little wear. Included is an accident free Carfax report which shows regular servicing and the title is free and clear.
Originally this car was sold in excess of $130,000 and it retains the same styling, performance and quality one would expect with a much lower cost of ownership.
