Data card confirms numbers and colors (see below). Very good and
very straight body with original fenders even lines and gaps. The
paint is bright and lovely but older and not perfect. Good chrome
trim. We have just installed new white-band tires. This SL has a
nice honest and mostly original interior with recently refurbished
wood and a newly installed canvas top. Hard top included and
pictured. Mechanically very strong and a delight to drive. Just had
a check out service & repairs. We have records from 1986 to Sept
2018. The most recent mechanic in Campbell California worked on it
since 2008withbills totaling $7500. The most recent bill of $2413
was on 9/18 plus $4k+ spent on the wood top and tires just now by
us. Comes with original books records and tool kit plus spare and
jack. This is a lovely and honest 280 SL that is priced well for
such a stunning well documented California owned example.
