Vehicle Description
Every inch is customized...That's the best way to describe this
1937 Studebaker Pickup Restomod. It's a build with almost ZERO
miles that has a custom body with exceptionally slick paint, a
leather-lined luxury A/C interior, and a full custom air ride
chassis. Oh yeah, and don't forget about the twin-turbo V8
delivering 850 horsepower! It the kind total package where you know
you'll really just be using the custom bed to show off all your
awards.
We don't have to tell you this is one slick-looking custom truck.
It seems to have blended all the best elements of the pre-war era,
hot rod touches, and modern components. After all, it starts with
the look of the sleek business coupe-express. That means the
aggressively-pointed Studebaker front end that has been given extra
definition to cut through the mainstream like a sharp-edged knife.
Everything about the exterior is there to make this one look
sleeker. You see it in the inset teardrop headlights that follow
the fender's curve, sunburst grille, chopped-style cab, shaved door
handles, frenched LED taillights, and a rear end that seamlessly
integrates into the step-side body. Those modern billet alloys have
a terrific shine, and the air ride suspension means you get to
dial-in a sporty stance whenever you want. And of course, the paint
only adds to the sleekness. The Candy Apple Red has a huge depth
and gloss so that the sunshine loves to dance evenly across the
whole body. In fact, the paint is so well-detailed, it makes you
love the creases in the body even more, including the
expertly-fitted hard tonneau cover. When you lift it, not only is
there a wood bed that has more gloss than a bowling alley, but also
it's thoughtfully detailed, right down to the bright accenting with
a design that coordinates with the grille.
Even getting into this pickup is designed to attract attention.
That's why you have remote door poppers and suicide hinges. Since
everyone will want a peek inside, this is one makes sure not to
disappoint. The custom dual-cowl dash is finished in the exterior
red, and it's as sporty as a Corvette. The leather seats make this
look as comfy as a Cadillac (and yes, the buckets even have a
similar stitch pattern to coordinate with the grille and bed!) Not
only does this all look premium, but also the long list of
desirable features makes it feel premium, too. This includes power
seats, power windows, power steering, cruise control, and
cold-blowing R134 air conditioning. Plus, the stereo is an
AM/FM/CD/DVD/XM touchscreen unit that's your gateway to everything
from sat nav to Bluetooth. The leather-wrapped billet steering
wheel is mounted on a tilt column, and that gives you a clear view
to the crisp AutoMeter gauges and an odometer that reminds you how
few miles are on this build.
The engine bay is ready to steal hearts and win awards all on its
own. After all, we dare you to find another component that can be
polished. But more than just look awesome, you can also instantly
see this has awesome power. Those twin turbos boldly sit on top of
the motor and have an artful setup as these twin dragons come
together to force-feed the motor. It would even be powerful without
turbocharging, because this is a well-built is a 383 cubic-inch
stroker V8 power package with a Holley four-barrel carburetor on
top. So when it's all combined, this on is stated to make a
whopping 850 horsepower! Making sure the power gets to the pavement
are stout components, like a TH400 three-speed automatic
transmission, Ford 9-inch rear, and extra wide Mickey Thompson rear
tires. And of course, you're going to want to look at the
undercarriage photos. Not only are you going to see a color-matched
presentation worthy of putting a mirror under this one, but also
you'll spot the right driving features, like a custom reinforced
chassis, tubular A-arm front end, four-link rear, and four-wheel
power disc brakes.
Slick, distinct, and absolutely awesome, this is the streetrod
pickup with all the features you want. So don't let it go into
someone else's collection. Call now!
