As the 4th generation Camaro's continue to climb in collectibility,
this particular IROC-Z is one to strongly consider. This 1985
Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z is a very original and well maintained
example. With just 13000 original miles, it shows very well.
Powered by the rare L69 5.0 Liter V8 and backed by the sought after
5 speed manual transmission. In 1985 the L69 5.0L was only offered
in the IROC-Z. Being just one of the 2497 that were produced with
the L69 makes this a rare car. The L69 produced 45 more horsepower
than its 5.0L LG4 counterpart. Some of the performance upgrades
that the L69 received were the aluminum intake manifold, computer
controlled carburetor, dual snorkel air intake, and higher
compression. This example runs and drives very well, with no
issues. The silver exterior is in very good condition, and is set
apart with the red and black IROC-Z decals and IROC-Z wheels. The
grey and black cloth interior is in excellent condition. Options
include striped front sport bucket seats, center console, factory
tach, AM/FM cassette, rear defrost, Fog lights, and rear wiper.
Here is a very rare, low mile, example of a collector car that is
growing fast in value and popularity. Don't miss out on this true
1980's V8 powered sports car with a 5 speed manual
transmission.
