1966 LOTUS ELAN SERIES 2, EXCEPTIONAL..
Probably one of the nicest Elans on the market today.
This Lotus is a two-owner car.
Purchased new by a person living in Venice Beach California.
It was then sold to an engineer who lives in Orange County 38 years
ago.
He has had it up till now and spent 8 years restoring it.
The body on this Elan would be better than when it left the
factory.
Have attached photos of all the door, trunk, hood and bumper
gaps.
( generally, we know nothing is perfect, but maybe this just is !
).
We have been through the car since it arrived with us.
Rebuilt the weber carbs,
gone through the fuel system,
Hydraulics, etc.
The engine runs strong and is very smooth.
Clutch, gearbox, and brakes are all in very good order.
mechanically the car is excellent and needs nothing.
the restoration was body and interior.

Under the car is still all original, it has just been maintained
and serviced.
It comes with a full tonneau cover and a new soft top.
The soft top bows have been restored.
comes with the side windows but they are not installed.
You will be hard pushed to find a nicer one in the world.
