Vehicle Description
This 1936 Ford Cabriolet is a fresh build that loves to expertly
mix classic style within modern convenience to deliver one
show-stopping and exceptionally-coordinated total package. So look
over every inch, including the undercarriage, on this V8-powered
five-speed custom that's out to steal your heart (and everyone
else's, too!)
There's only about 1,800 miles on this build, and the fresh look
that this one has should really get you excited. But there's
something much more here. The body is a fiberglass unit by Cutting
Edge Composites. They are known for a quality resin process that
delivers military-grade strength in a lightweight package. So you
know this is a great foundation before you even check out the
custom details. The build expertly blends three different eras. The
wire wheels, whitewalls, and taillights are all part of a cool
'30s-style packaging. The expertly eliminated bumpers, custom rear
pinstriping, chopped roofline, shaved handles, and cleanly
integrated teardrop headlights are the kind of things you'd find on
a well-done post-war hot rod. And then it's all dipped in a modern
and glossy Midnight Navy Blue. And to make this show-ready
up-to-date paint look even more striking, details like the wheels
and waterfall grille were painted to match. And the white roof even
is part of this thoughtful package as it coordinates with the
whitewalls and pinstriping. The total effect is a classic-style
machine where you can tell they sweated all the details.
Electric door poppers and suicide doors even make getting into this
cabriolet impressive. And as much as we like the way this one looks
with the roof in place, we know you're going to love showing off
the custom interior. It starts with more of the terrific blue and
white two tone full coordinated inside. You'll love the
leather-like feel of the UltraVinyl material that's supple, yet
durable. The dual bucket seats have nice modern bolstering and a
classic tuck and roll middle insert. The door panels, rear shelf,
and even the trunk are done to match. There are some
well-integrated comfort features like the power windows operated by
the classic-style cranks, and retro-style radio that's a modern
AM/FM digital tuner with USB and Bluetooth. There's even a power
tonneau cover so that you can take down the folding roof and leave
no trace of it. The bright banjo-style steering wheel is mounted on
a Flaming River tilt column. The gauges have a crisp and clean
vintage-style presentation. And the central-mounted tach goes
nicely with the gearstick just ahead of it.
This is an engine worthy of putting on display, because it follows
this car's theme perfectly. You get the classic-style 239
cubic-inch Ford Flathead V8. But now it has been given hot
rod-style upgrades like the Edelbrock cylinder heads and dual
Stromberg carbs. This is supported by the best in modern
components, like a Mallory electronic ignition, Painless wiring
harness, Powermaster alternator (disguised as a classic generator),
and an aluminum radiator with Spal electric fan. This is mated to a
T5 five-speed manual transmission on its way to the Ford 9-inch
rear end. This has even more great driving features, like the TCI
tubular A-arm front end, four-link rear w/adjustable coilovers, and
Wilwood power front disc brakes. And because you're going to be
showing off this build everywhere, the undercarriage is done in
blue and chrome so you can put a mirror under this fresh build.
The sale comes complete with build receipts, maintenance records,
and service manuals. This is the amazing build where they thought
of everything. So the only thing missing is you. Call today!!!
