A little history of my 59 Ford Panel
In 2001 I was looking for a work truck, nothing special just something I could lock up my work tools in, I was a maintenance man with many locations.
I went to the Pomona swap meet to see what was there. I saw the panel and thought maybe?, I kept looking but it was the only panel there so I looked it over again. It had a Chevy 350CI motor with Powerguild trans, I'm a Ford guy so I knew the motor had to go, in the future. I bought the truck and drove it home, one-stop to fill the radiator, had a leek. The panel had no Power steering/ power brakes and had a well used I-beam front end with kingpins
Fast forward to 2003
I found a shop that would fix what I wanted and after 4 months I drove the panel home.
I had the panel repainted in 2011 to the current color and had the torsion bar front end completely rebuilt in Nov 2019
