The 1967 911S cars were the first to have the extra horsepower,
which was increased from 130HP to 160HP from the base model 911.
1967 was a unique transition year for Porsche and as a result, one
of the most unique 911s ever produced. The 1967 911S had one of the
lightest chassis as well as the lightest 2.0 liter "S" engine
derived directly from the Porsche race program. This combination
produced a true sport purpose car.
These 911s have always been cherished and enjoyed. The owner spared
no expense in the restoration! From 2017-2018 everything was
rebuilt including the engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension
by Aase Motors in Fullerton, California.
It is a California car; both the body & undercarriage are extremely
dry & straight with no signs of damage or rust. Finished in Light
Ivory with a lovely Black German interior. All of the gauges and
clock have been restored along with the radio. All of the chrome
has been triple plated and all new rubber seals have been
installed. It is truly in exceptional condition!
The best part is not how good she looks but the way this 911 S
drives. It is pure Porsche. There is nothing like the way these
short wheel-base 911s handle. They are very nimble and you feel the
road with every turn. The short-stroke early 2.0-liter motors also
have a very free rev which is like no other 911S. This 2.0-Liter
engine runs absolutely perfect and the 901 transmission shifts
precise & is very smooth. The steering is light and responsive with
no alignment issues. The four-wheel disc brake system stops the car
straight and has been completely rebuilt along with the suspension.
An ideal 911 for any vintage touring event.
According to the CoA, it was completed on September 2, 1966, and
was the 468th "S" built. Options include rear wiper, factory
driving lights through the horn grills, gas heater, Becker radio
(restored and works perfectly), factory flat 4 1/2" Fuch alloy
wheels (one year only) sporting Michelin XWX 185/70 VR 15 tires.
Wooden steering wheel with deluxe horn ring, Coco mats, and seat
belts. Complete with original owner's manual, restoration receipts,
Certificate of Authenticity confirming all matching numbers, extra
key, spare wheel/tire, jack, and tools. Rare opportunity to find an
early 67 911S that has been restored and sorted to such high
standards.
