The engine is a fuel -injected 1470cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke V-Twin with 4 valves per cylinder. The power is delivered through a 5-speed transmission with a shaft final drive. The initial project set out to reincarnate the Indian spirit while the company was out of production at the time the Vulcan Project began.
