European Motor Studio is very excited to offer this exceptional final year 1999 Mercedes-Benz C140 CL600 Coupe finished in 040 Black over 511 Black/Nappa Trim leather. This final year 1999 Mercedes-Benz CL600 left the factory in March of 1998 making it one of the very last C140 Coupe's of the iconic “Big Body” S-Classes. Arriving at Beck Imports of Texas in April and sold to its first owner on April 21, 1998 in the amount of $140,495. This 600 lived in Texas until moving to Phoenix Arizona in October of 2015. Having covered a mere 34,880 miles since new, this CL600 is draped in its original paint top to bottom. A paint meter has been used on all the panels. The exterior finish is in exceptional condition with one touched up chip above the front driver fender and a few tiny stone chips in the front nose and lower skirt. All of the original glass is rock chip and scratch free and still retains all of the original stickers. The interior is all original and the leather is still very soft to the touch. No dye or fill has ever been applied to the seats and they have been conditioned once a year. All of the wood is completely untouched and crack free and the leather dash is in beautiful shape. The factory Alcantara headliner is all intact and damage free. The Mercedes-Benz 6 liter 12 cylinder engine starts right up without any warning lights and zero hesitation. The engine is unbelievably smooth and quiet and pulls beautifully. The car has just been serviced at Mercedes-Benz of Chandler and has accompanying service records back to brand new all through a dealer or specialty Mercedes-Benz shop. The alternator and tires were done in Summer of 2016 and the nitrogen air cells in the rear suspension were replaced March 2014. The suspension feels very solid and smooth with no noises detected. The front end is very tight as it should with no play or looseness. All of the electronics are operating as they should. All of the power windows, locks, sunroof, power seats, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, the memory function, the heated seats, all four headrests and the soft close doors and trunk with the handle is all working. Both seat belt arm extenders are operating as they should along with the power rear sunshade and the park assist sensors and display inside the car. All of the lights are operating and illuminating as they should both interior and exterior including the HID leveling headlights. This is an exceptional example offered here for sale from the final year of production and the smallest production number model year. Mercedes only imported about 15 or so 12 cylinder Coupe's for the 1999 model year. All of the original Mercedes-Benz books are present with the sale of this car along with 4 keys, the original window sticker, 6-dics CD changer and cartridge, complete service records dating back to new, a clean and clear Carfax and title.
