The 1965 Corvette Stingray Coupe
This model is a rare find. There were only 759 sport coupes with side mount exhaust produced, so this is an extraordinary opportunity not to miss. Of Corvettes 67 year history, the ‘65 is one of the Crown Jewels, winning dozens of national awards. Photos do not do it justice. You have to see it to appreciate the condition its in. Over the years I’ve entered it in many car shows. People flock to this vehicle, and the 30-35 trophies it’s won supports the appeal.
The powerful engine was ahead of its time. Introduced in late 1965, and only installed in 2,157 cars, Chevrolet's L78 396 was officially the first big block Corvette ever offered. This gives you 425 horsepower and performance. Innovative 4-wheel disk brakes ensure a safe finish to your drag races. Modifications made to the body in 1965 give this car the most stylish lines Chevrolet ever designed, with the stand out feature being the side exhaust. You’ll find many Stingray convertibles on the market, but few of the sport coupes. The hard top model gives one of the most unique silhouettes ever crafted in muscle car history.
