The Ford Mustang GT 5.0 is already a legend for offering a
fuel-injected classic with the right amount of power and poise -
all for a value price. So it only gets better when this young
classic fastback has been given a solid investment to give it
shining paint, a beefy suspension, and serious supercharged
power.
This Mustang is a more aggressive pony. The extra tall cowl hood
and shining Weld racing wheels with extra meaty rear tires all
announce this is something mean. Plus, the red paint has a nice
gloss that does a terrific job of highlighting the flair from the
factory body kit (including the well-integrated rear spoiler.) So
while we'd never call a fastback Mustang stealth, this one really
ups the intimidation factor.
You get even more of that performance sensation the moment you open
the door. After all, the factory never installed a roll cage and
five-point RJS racing harnesses. The factory gauges take a sideline
to all the upgraded AutoMeter readouts installed, including boost,
fuel pressure, oil pressure, and a large Sport-Comp tach with shift
light. But while this is absolutely a machine modified for speed,
it also retains the best comfort features you expect from a more
modern pony car. This includes power windows, power locks, power
steering, cruise control, the premium factory AM/FM/cassette
stereo, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. These Mustangs had
some of the best factory seats, and these well-bolstered buckets
still look great today.
While the 5.0 Mustangs are already legendary, one look under the
hood, and you know this pony is a far wilder beast. This is a
fuel-injected V8 has been enhanced and fortified with Holley
SysteMax intake, Ford Racing plug wires, Crane Cams HI-6 ignition,
and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan. And while that was already
enough for serious performance, this one is force-fed with a Paxton
Novi 1000 supercharger to be the true street king. The long tube
headers add even more power while announcing the power superiority
with a serious thunder. Best of all, you are in control of the full
power package thanks to the five-speed manual transmission. As you
look underneath, you'll see the right components, like an upgraded
front suspension, subframe connectors, a reinforced rear end, power
brakes w/discs up front, and grippy Mickey Thompson rear tires.
Complete with build receipts, this is your chance at a
well-presented legend with serious supercharged power. Call
