DOCUMENTATION Returning for 1967, Pontiacs wildly successful Le
Mans-based GTO featured several mild, yet highly effective styling
revisions and numerous functional updates underneath. It also
continued for the second model year as a unique Pontiac series.
Engines were upsized for 67 to 400 CI with a 335-HP unit standard
equipment. A fully integrated high-performance car with class,
image and the substance to back it up, the GTO sparked competitors
from virtually all American makes, yet maintained strong sales and
