Vehicle Description
Welcome to Street Dreams in Texas as we celebrate our 21st year in
the classic and muscle car business. Pontiac's Trans Am did not
overwhelm their dealerships with customers, as had happened with
the GTO in '64, when it was released late in the 1969 model year.
From its modest beginnings with fewer than 700 units sold in 1969,
the Trans Am grew into a cultural icon by the late '70's with
annual sales of over 90,000 cars and every teenage boy in America
dreaming of owning one. Our beastly Buccaneer Red 1974 Trans Am is
a fine example of what many people consider the last of the true
muscle cars. The heart of every T/A is its engine, and this tire
fryer is sporting the optional 455 cubic inch (Y) engine that's
well known for its ability to convert rubber into smoke! Additional
standard and optional features include variable ratio power
steering, power front disc brakes, power windows, air conditioning,
TH400 automatic transmission, Rally gauge cluster, limited-slip
differential, heavy duty suspension, (functional) shaker hood
scoop, front fender air extractors, wheel opening air deflectors,
front and rear spoilers, and the very desirable honeycomb wheels.
This car looks, sounds, and feels the it should, which is to say it
will probably make your neighbors nervous! Street Dreams is a full
service dealership that can assist with worldwide shipping,
insurance, and financing options.
