302 V8, AUTOMATIC, POWER BRAKES, GREAT DAILY DRIVER, MATCHING TRAILER! This is a super fun truck, 1st year after the WWII and very desirable body lines. Cosmetic
- Paint/Body: Straight body, a few small rust bubbles at the lower cab corners. Paint is older but still shows well. Pearl white and looks sharp at 20ft. Pin-striping and classic Coke logo are new and can be removed easily if you would like.
- Interior: Nice comfy seat, clean carpet. Wood door panels. Late model gauges. glove box closed off to hold a cd player, I would put a glove box door over it to hide it. Smaller aftermarket steering wheel looks nice.
- Glass/Windows: Glass is in good original condition, windows roll up and down easily.
- Trunk: Steel bed. Antique Coca-Cola cooler has been made into the battery box.
- Undercarriage: Solid and rust free and uncut original frame rails. Floor pan seems to be in good solid condition, too. There is some normal rust inner cab corners.
- Wheels/Tires: Original rally style wheels with nice hubcaps and beauty rings. Tires have good tread.
Mechanical
- Drivetrain: 302 V8 starts easily and runs strong. Automatic transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears. The truck drives nice and straight. Small steering wheel makes it a little tough steering in tight spots with the larger tires. I would put an original steering wheel back on the truck. She does steer easily and straight down the road with no wandering.
- Lights/Electrical: Headlights, tail lights, and brake lights all working. Radio also works.
- Brakes: Power booster on the original brakes makes it easy to stop, straight and strong.
