Selling my beautiful El Camino after 10 years of restoration and updates. Car is dresses with SS upgrades like the hood and interior badging. Fender tag shows 327 but in fact is a new GM 350 CID crate engine. Modified with an Edelbrock top end kit ( alum heads, performer intake, comp thumper cam, and 650 com carb.) and ceramic coated headers ,4 core desert cooler radiator. Hooked up to a freshly rebuilt Muncie M21 close ratio 4speed and a 355 post trac rear end. Shifts like butter. Totally new suspension front and rear. Tubular control arms, Hotchkiss sway bars, new disc brakes front/ drums rear. New steering gear box. New wheels and tires. Wheels are Coddington speedsters with new Bridgestone Potenza 225/45/18 front and 245/40/18 on the rear.
Body and interior in excellent condition. No dings, dents or rust. Paint is nice, lots of shine but no show car quality. Red pin-striping looks great and offsets the red interior nicely. Inside has the upgraded custom interior with a power bench seat. Gauges upgraded to Dakota Digital. Upgraded sound system. iPhone compatible with wire. Glass is good. Weather stripping new. All the brightwork has been replaced. Have all original stock if desired.
Have a ton of receipts to document work. This is a high quality build, not slapped together by a hack like me. This car has been pampered. Never raced, dragged or beaten on. Just occasional weekend and car shows. Mileage of 3800 is what's been recorded since new Dakota Digital installed in Feb 2013. This is a fun car. Attracts a lot of attention at shows and cruise-ins.
