Vehicle Description
1987 Chevrolet El Camino
Why This Car Is Special
We have a cool 1987 El Camino here at Skyway Classics that was an
iconic example of Chevrolet's hybrid sedan/pick-up. The body looks
so slick in its Deep Burgundy paint scheme.
Mechanical
Powered by numbers matching 305 V-8 partnered with a 3-speed
automatic transmission, this engine and compartment looks as new as
it was when it left the showroom back in 1987.
It has all the right factory stuff like the correct chrome lid air
cleaner, exhaust manifolds, air conditioning, valve covers, intake,
and fuel system.
Power steering was standard equipment and power-assisted front
discs/rear drums provide plenty of stopping power. It rides on
Cooper Cobra Radial GT Tires and Cragar Classic SS mag wheels to
give it the right look and stance.
Interior
Inside, the great maroon twin bucket seat cloth interior is fully
equipped with factory air conditioning, AM/FM/ stereo, dash with
the factory gauge package and tilt steering wheel, Seat Belts,
Cruise Control, Power Windows, and Power Locks.
It has matching maroon carpeting as well as "The Heartbeat Of
America" floor mats.
Exterior
The maroon paint is shiny and full of luster and accented by a
tasteful pin striping scheme. Visual accents include dual sport
mirrors, great trim, good chrome bumpers, chrome plated exhaust
tips, and a bed mat.
Conclusion
This cool 1987 El Camino here at Skyway Classics isn't all about
