door Aerosedan street rod. Now you just don't see these
anymore!
Mechanical
Our 46 doesn't have the tired old factory original 216 cubic inch
engine and 3 on the tree tranny. It now has a tried & true small
block Chevy 350 cubic inch V8 engine and automatic transmission all
on a modified frame and chassis too.
The engine has plenty of power and has finned valve covers, open
air cleaner, hoses, lines, and wiring is nicely routed throughout
the engine, a great sound through tube headers and a dual exhaust
into chrome tips.
The automatic transmission turns the 10 bolt GM rear end which is
great for cruising through town or those long distance trips. Other
nice features include the power steering, and power brakes.
Interior
The interior has a black leather bench seat with a pulldown center
console, good carpet, headliner, door panels, headliner and it is
extremely comfortable.
The dash utilizes mostly original looking components mounted in the
bezels that fits in perfectly. It has a custom AM/FM/ stereo sound
system to play any tunes you might like.
Exterior
Our Fleetline has great bodylines and an amazing big car look in
the dark blue shade of paint. The car has nice chrome including the
bumpers, grill, mirrors, windshield wipers, window trim, and
more.
The side trim looks awesome on the car including the lower trim
that opens up on the rear fenders. The original style large front
visor is in place which you don't usually see on all these cars.
This looks great on the car and uses all chrome hardware.
All of the original style emblems and hood ornaments are in place
and have a great shine. It rides on stock looking wheels and
factory hubcaps with white wall tires.

The 1946 Chevrolet Fleetline 2 door Aerosedan we have here at
Skyway Classics is a great street rod that has a great stance and
looks awesome going down the road.
